Profile T2 and T2+ Cobra Tribars

Profile T2 Tribar
Finally there is a range of tribars and extensions under the Profile T2 and T2 plus names.

Firstly you can buy the Profile T2 wing aero base bar which has a clamping section designed to accept any profile clip on tribar and constructed from double butted aluminium, with pre-drilling for internal cables.

In the range of clip on T2 tribars there is a draft legal flat position bar with S-bend extensions of aluminium, suiting aggressive positions for both time trials and triathlons. These will fit both 26 mm and 31.8 mm oversize bars and the air extensions will adjust in rotation wit and length, with J shaped brackets allowing a low position. This is also available as the T2 + alloy aero road bar if you do not need the ITU approval.

Finally there is the T2 + Cobra carbon tribar which is a lightweight bar at 492 g with multi directional extensions of carbon fibre and forged aluminium brackets which are J shaped to allow a lower arm position while riding. There is rotation, width and length adjustment available and the armrests are all so able to rotate. The T2 + Cobra tribar fits both 26 mm and 31.8 mm handlebars and is in gloss black carbon.

Profile AirStryke and Carbon Strike tribars

One of the most popular Profile tribars, the AirStryke has plenty of options for adjustment with spring loaded arm brackets that can be moved upwards out of the way before when you are climbing. The armrests have good length and width of adjustability for custom fitting and these bars can fit both 26 mm and 31.8 mm base bars. The grip area on the AirStryke is a hoop shape.

As you can tell from the name of the Carbon Strike tribar from profile it is constructed from carbon fibre giving a lightweight result. The extensions and grips are ergonomically shaped with plenty of reach adjustment and the grips are J shaped, with damping against shocks. The aluminium bracket adjusts to fit both 26 mm and 31.8 mm base bars.

Profile Jammer Tribar

If you need a draft legal tribar then the profile Jammer has been ITU approved for Olympic distance triathlons. These are aluminium bars and the extensions have rotational, width and length of adjustability; the pads are independently adjustable in length, width and access. Brackets will fit both 26 mm and 31.8 mm base bars and the weight comes in at 375 g. Grips are what could best be described as a question mark shape, which can also be rotated.

Profile Airwing Tribar

If you just need a simple road tribar for time trials or triathlons then the Profile Airwing is a possibility. It is a lightweight bar with a shallow drop, available in oversized, and double butted versions with pre-drilling for internal cables.

This is a flat road bar, very useful where you need and aero position combined with a wider stance for out of the saddle climbing.

For triathlon or touring riders seeking either comfort or speed the ZB tribar is a good option at an entry level price. It is an aluminium tribar, using a hooped grip area, with closed ends and in one piece, being both strong and durable. Arm width is adjustable and the multi-fit system allows fitting to 26 mm or 31.8 mm handlebars.
